This is the custom brush I'm currently using for inking. It's also good for quick sketches (as seen in the preview - the sketch and the coloring were done with just the inking brush). It works wonderfully with pressure sensitivity, so make sure you've tweaked your Brush Tracking before using it. :D

For Mac OS X users, put the contents of the .ZIP file in your user folder/Library/Application Support/Corel/Painter X/Brushes/Painter Brushes.

For Windows users... uh... empty the .ZIP into your Painter/Brushes/Painter Brushes folder. Usually this is in C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Painter X\Brushes\Painter Brushes, depending where you installed your program.

Sorry, I dunno if this will work for earlier versions... let me know if it does or not.

I hope you enjoy the brush... feel free to tweak it for your own purposes.

Nope, Painter brushes have a different technology from Photoshop. :(

Painter IX (also known as Painter 9) is the earlier version of the program. :) Painter X (10) is the latest version.
